The good ol' state of Georgia! (stubc08)

If you like good football, some scary ghost stories, and southern cooking that makes you want to smile, I suggest you make your way to my state, Georgia. Home of the University of Georgia, Paula Deen, famous peaches, and so much more. Georgia is not only a great place to live, but also a great place to visit. If you were to stop by, there are a few places that I would recommend. First, I would go to the heart of Atlanta and go to the Georgia aquarium. Not only is it right in the middle of downtown, there is a plentiful amount of exotic animals. Then, I think you should move on over to Athens. Home of the Georgia Bulldogs (Go dawgs!) Lots of excitment at the university and also many cute botiques in downtown Athens. After an adventorous day in Athens, Savannah should be your next stop. Savannah, a very historic city, is a great place to stop. While there, you should visit one of Paula Deen's famous resteraunts and maybe go on a ghost tour. The tours there are so much fun. They even have one that takes you in a hurse. It's great! If you want to see a different side of Georgia, I would recommend Hiawassee. It is a smaller town, but let me tell you, it is georgous. The mountains there are breath taking. Hiawassee also has quick and easy access to many fun places. Those would include Chatanooga, Tennessee and certain areas in North Carolina, so perfect for a day trip! There are so many things in Georgia to see and do, I can barely even start to name them all. I hope if you come to Georgia, that you will tell me all about your experiences and if you thought my advice was helpful.

I LOVE history, so Georgia sounds ideal to me. But riding in a hearse for a tour; hope the tourists aren't in coffins in the back of the hearse ....
